The mind is a powerful force, propelling our everyday life. Whether it’s making breakfast, reading a book, or building a computer, the mind is the driving force.
Negative or positive, thoughts shape your life. All opinions, actions, desires, fears, and motivations, stem from this mega computer. It’s no coincidence then that our adversary attacks the mind.
While the world suggests a “positive thinking” antidote, the reality is we must hide God’s word in our hearts (Psalm 119:11) allowing His truths to sanctify our every thought (John 17:17). Only then can we experience life and peace in our thoughts, relationships, and purpose.
Key Verse: For the mind set on flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. Romans 8:6
- Monday – With the thousands of thoughts racing through our minds, changing them can seem overwhelming, especially in our strength. As you begin each day, ask God for His matchless power to mentally arrest all thoughts that set themselves up against the truths of God’s word.
- We demolish arguments and every lofty opinion that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5
- Tuesday – Because you have the mind of Christ, a holy thought life is well within your reach. Throughout your day, ask God to enlighten your mental “eyes” to spot any unhealthy thought patterns, writing them down as you go.
- But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16
- Wednesday – Guarding your mind against toxic thoughts begins with being aware of them. Taking one thought you wrote down yesterday, ask God to rewrite it in a God-honoring, praiseworthy way. Jot the new definition down (learn how to set up a Scripture memory journal to help you pray over these areas)
- Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about these things. Philippians 4:8
- Thursday – Thought loops are unmistakably some of the hardest habits to change. Unseen but not unnoticed, some of these thoughts have haunted us from childhood. Where have you watched these thoughts control your life, purpose, and relationships?
- Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind… Romans 12:2
- Friday – Transformation is a process of elimination and infusion. Ultimately, God’s desire for all His children is to be transformed into the image and likeness of His Son by the renewing of your mind. This weekend, spend time re-reading these verses. Commit to memorizing one verse.
- And we…are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18

Scrolling around your blog I saw this entry. I took note almost immediately that it was added on my daughter’s last living birthday, 09/19/19…as you know, she chose to leave this world 11/18/19, a few months after her 41st birthday. I’m not sure what drew me to this entry but I did get a scripture memory book and have been noting scripture, it is very helpful in centering attention on God’s word, anyway, just thought I’d share this with you. Again, much love and respect! ❤️🙏

Hello Esther, I looked for the Release printable but couldn’t find it in the library… Is it available for printing?
