Planted within every heart is a desire to make a difference, a hunger to leave a mark on the world around. You (insert your name) were created for such a time as this with a purpose no one else can accomplish. Here, the Father cheers you on, knowing the deepest satisfaction of every soul. This week we are seeking to align our desires, passions, and purpose with His will.

- Monday – Written to the Israelites, who would remain in exile 70 more years, God reminded them that He knew His plans for their lives – His gracious promise to prosper them. And while His plans don’t always look like ours, we can rest in the Potter’s hands who knows the purposes for which we were created. He knows the struggles you might be facing, and yet His promises remain bigger than the problem. Spend some time today meditating on His promise to prosper and give you hope.

This is where He transforms pain into purpose. Like Christ, whose scars led to our freedom, God has entrusted us with “freedom” scars for others. As painful as it may be, dig deep into God’s heart seeking His desire to use your bruises for His purpose.
- And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
- Thursday – Life is a gift, but we determine how we use it. Aligning our desires with His will for our lives is the currency of heaven. Do you desire [seek, crave, long for, motivated by] His will for your life? With open hands, ask God to give you a deep longing to surrender your desires for His.
- I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.” Psalm 40:8
- Friday – All purpose belongs to Him, and from Him flows all direction needed to fulfill it. Our purpose – fueled by a passion to please Him – produces powerful plans that only He can satisfy. He alone spread out the heavens, set the sun in the sky to govern the day, and told the ocean where to stop. Like all of creation, you have a divine purpose! Do you believe that? Do you trust that He can and will fulfill it?
- The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Psalm 138:8
